Nevill holt festival

The final event of the summer took place at one of the UK's most stunning festival venues, the Nevill Holt Estate, set in the breathtaking Leicestershire countryside. I was honoured to be invited to the star-studded arts and ideas festival, whose 2026 programme featured national icons, cultural trailblazers, legendary actors, former senior intelligence leaders, and former prime ministers.

My sell-out event took place in the chapel, where I was interviewed by the impressive Channel 5 News reporter, Louise Beale. A book signing followed the event in the Waterstones tent, where I was delighted to converse further with audience members about the book.

It is the first time I have been dressed by a festival partner. The iconic fashion brand Jigsaw focuses on high-quality British fashion. I felt like a million dollars wearing a green stretch-crepe draped midi dress, accompanied by a black Bella leather crossbody bag. I took time to grab a photo with the delightful Katie in the Jigsaw tent and several purchases may have been made.

The festival was a truly incredible experience, but a particularly memorable highlight was being handed a copy of Her Secret Service for signing, with a note stating it was for Sir Richard Moore, the former MI6 chief! I may have inscribed a personal message, but that remains top secret.
