I was delighted to support the launch of Dermot Turing's new book, Misread Signals: How History Overlooked Women Codebreakers published by The History Press.
Sat within the impressive Fellowship Auditorium at Bletchley Park, I spoke with the nephew of Alan Turing about the subject of his book: female codebreakers whose stories have remained overlooked for too long.
Women performed important wartime roles not only at Bletchley Park, but across the intelligence world, from Britain to the US and Nazi Germany.
